About

I am an artist working predominantly in printmaking, recently extending my practice into ceramics to pay homage to Portuguese azulejos for my body of work ‘In the Frame

An avid amateur photographer who captures a sense of place through form, texture and materiality. My photography becomes the starting point to multi-disciplined printmaking .

‘In the Frame’ looks at the gentrification of Lisbon as a result of tourism. Having lived and taught in Lisbon for over a decade, I witnessed the evolving city, much of it beneficial to the infrastructure; but my work scratches away at the façade to reveal the impact of gentrification and tourism on the local population.

I am focusing on my creative practice after a vocation of teaching in the UK, Portugal and Singapore. I am currently completing my postgraduate studies in Fine Art Printmaking at UWE, Bristol.

Now based in Somerset, I am a member of Bath Artist Printmakers.
